So as a student currently living away from home… I realize my food situation sucks.
I have run out of most basic food supplies and am now relying on mr. noodle to see me through this dangerous time. Thank you school for making me poorer, and giving me three 8+ papers to write before the end of term.

things i have learned this week
- Do not listen to Rebecca Black’s song Friday. It WILL get stuck in your head for the next five days, forcing you to have some of the worst lyrics known to man constantly looping in your head.
- Apparently the washing machine decides it randomly doesn’t want to work. We are currently performing experiments on it to determine why this is so.
- Early Star Trek: The Next Generation episodes have the most amazing child actors. As in so amazing you want to cry over how the actors are apparently unable to portray themselves as believable characters.
- Green curry is not my friend, it is a devilish food substance designed to irritate your stomach beyond normal means.
- Apparently St. Patrick’s day in Victoria means that all the bars downtown have lineups that start at 11am. Old people love their liquor.
- I’m a sucker for reality tv. Especially the ones on mtv. Sad to say but I have watched all current episodes of Jersey Shore and Teen Mom 2. Due to these episodes I also now have an intense urge to slap Jenelle as she apparently does not know that stealing her mom’s credit cards is a crime, and that Ronnie and Sam really need to stop being in a relationship period.
- Apparently loads of people are saying that the earthquake and subsequent tsunami in Japan, are payback for Pearl Harbour. It appears that these idiots have selective memories for events that happened well over 60 years ago, forgetting that Japan suffered horrendous losses when nuclear bombs were dropped on two major cities.
- Also due to the above natural disasters, it seems as though everyone and their mother is now worried about possible nuclear fallout due to some of the reactors in Japan on the verge of going critical. Conveniently everyone seems to forget that current nuclear reactor safety mechanisms are designed to minimize said fallout if it does occur. It will not be another Chernobyl.
- That being said, the 50 plant workers that stayed behind to prevent the nuclear reactor are my new heroes.
